Shelley believes that people can not only heal their emotional wounds but gain a deeper sense of self throughout the journey. Having worked with a variety of populations from foster youth to folks struggling with addiction, anxiety, and depression, she is passionate about helping people tap into their strength and inner wisdom. She believes in the healing powers of therapy and creative expression.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Addictions Counseling. Shelley is a mother, artist, and lover of the mystical parts of life. She has continued her studies in expressive arts and a residential training with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, renowned author of Women Who Run With the Wolves.
Through the lens of trauma-informed training, attachment, and emotionally focused therapy, Shelley is grateful to be able to help people reconnect with themselves and the people they love. Her heart is humbled to hold space for those seeking healing.
